Alfredo's Pastaria is both a continuation—and a personal story. For years, this restaurant operated as Mezzaluna Pasteria & Mozzarella Bar under Chef Soerke Peters and Amy Stouffer, who built a loyal following through fresh pasta, housemade mozzarella, and a simple, thoughtful approach to Italian cuisine. Alfredo Ortiz was part of that story from the inside—serving as longtime manager and helping shape the guest experience that so many came to love. Today, as owner, Alfredo carries that legacy forward. The foundation remains the same: fresh ingredients, handcrafted food, and a welcoming atmosphere. But Alfredo's Pastaria brings a renewed sense of care, consistency, and connection to every guest who walks through the door. This is not a reinvention.
